In realness, Coco is Tawna’s replacement, she hasn’t left Crash’s side for over the span of 25 years he’s been around, and the fact that she’s a sister makes her more pleasing and enjoyable than a trophy girl. But that’s my opinion, don’t take it seriously.

Tbh imo it was too drastic of a change from her previous looks. I feel like Tawna already nailed the "sexy chick" look, (Which is what it seems they were going for with that design) and I liked that Coco was smart, but also silly like her brother. I think her original designs capture that nicely.
