Yeah you can’t count on defensemen working out … if Risto is happy here I would keep him … Z … could possibly moved but I would hate to trade him before he improves and we can get more for him… Vasili since you are in Canada can you keep us posted on the Hart Trial? … I realize this might be a taboo subject but general information would be appreciated … I think the trial starts soon … Good episode!😎

Only prospects I see that have exceeded expectations are Barkey & Alex Bump. I really think Flyers need to make strong moves for young talent that is still in other teams systems (not NHL yet). If Laughton & Risto are still on this team going into camp next season that will tell me that Briere is experiencing paralysis by over-analysis.

I wouldn't say its close but then again even if it wasn't a rebuild Id still be doing the same thing. The thing that gets clubs in trouble is spending exorbitant amounts of money on guys that are passed their prime. I dont think they're that far away maybe like a 1c and a franchise goalie which there's a good chance both may already be in the organization.

@@karenhughes401 even when Flyers get cap space they usually sign middle of road players to top player money. I wish Flyers were destination spot for players but we see no evidence of this. Flyers have to do this thru draft and smart trades of players who are being misused.

it's going to take a couple more years until they are really really ready for the playoffs. they might get there next year but to be really ready 2 years. take your time with it Dan do it right. no more big names just to sell tickets like Paul.

Don't do anything let these kids keep growing together playing together. 2 years maybe 3 years and we should have a team like we had back in the 80s. Bobby Clark put a bunch of kids together and they were great in the 80s. The greatest hockey team ever put together Edmonton oilers of the 80s. Was the reason why the flyers didn't win the cup in the 80s. Am 65 i had been watching the flyers since the beginning of the flyers in 67. They are doing it right

I feel for the young fans who just got into the franchise in the past 20 years. Other than 2010, this franchise was been simply bad “Light at the end of the tunnel”! WTH hell you guys watching? Tons of money coming off the books the next two seasons, and a bunch of assets gathered to potentially make some trades. If they do nothing at all with the combination of those two things the next few seasons I get the frustration and it's well warranted. But the team should be poised to make some moves here over the next 6 months, ex at the Draft, to begin the off season, free agency etc.

Briere has admitted teams don't trade young talented Centers away. That leaves Draft and FA. For some reason Flyers appear adverse to drafting early - so that significantly reduces chances of getting 1C that way. That leaves FA as only likely method of getting 1C. I don't get sense Philly is destination spot for players (they used to be). So Briere is relying on something that's unlikely to happen as main tactic to making team contender again. Not sure that's a sound approach.

@@vasiligianarakos1261they have been a failure in all of these categories. What they Should have done as far back as 15 was to sell off assets (should have moved G back then), finish bottom five for 2-3 years, which likely would have build the team. Instead, we have been lead by incompetent fools(homer, hack and Fletch) who have produced half assed teams who aren’t/weren’t quite bad enough to get about impactful picks (bottom five).
