I think this Esk8 experiment would be fun to try if it's a rider whose performance is more important than the practicality of the board. It was also very good in terms of stability. And I think it would be interesting if a kit like this that is more durable and designed from what I made came to the market. It was a fun experiment that I personally felt a sense of accomplishment.

Outstanding. Always amazing to see your work. The design of this experiment and the execution of that design is second to none. WOW. On a side note, the side profile of the 8x4 reminds me of the Elevator Car in the Thunderbirds "Trapped in the Sky".

Do you sell this kind of board on particular demands? I mean you can do commercial projects like this if anyone contacts you.
@KAMiJUINs2 ай бұрын
I cannot do that. Under Korea's import and export laws, individuals cannot ship goods equipped with large batteries abroad. So unfortunately, it's impossible ㅜ..ㅜ
@jayanderson58232 ай бұрын
like broooo...YOU DON'T KNOW HOW LONG I'VE WAITED FOR SOMEONE TO TRY THIS! It's perfect and I just love how awsome it looks at the end! But is it just me or it looks a bit sag when you ride it, like you gave it camber? but all that aside. I want this!
@KAMiJUINs2 ай бұрын
Thank you so much :) The reason is that even though I used a 6mm thick carbon sheet, it couldn't help but bend slightly outward, causing some camber. Maybe a 10mm thickness is expected to hold out enough.
@jayanderson58232 ай бұрын
@@KAMiJUINs 10mm might help but Carbon fiber is known for its flexibility and in your case, you need a rigid material which is steel, aluminium can work but it can be bent out of shape

This would be amazing to do to my long range board to make it more comfortable and I’d still be able to get over 60km range since the battery is beefy . This should’ve been called the RoverSkate or something cause that’s cool asf

The friend below is right. The 6mm thick carbon sheet didn't stop the slight bending outside. A 10mm thick sheet is expected to solve this problem.

@@KAMiJUINs Mechanical engineer here. Triangulate from the flat plate back to the old motor mount or truck. Adding thickness won’t help that much.
