Friends are important; yet, the type of friend Sattin talks of is what a REAL FRIEND can offer: support!

How anyone can get through life without this course, astounds me. Courage does not arrive Automatically, unless we are taught these feelings and skills in healthy childhoods. These issues surface in work and friend relationships, too. Not just romantic relationships. I don't think I could find the courage to have a friendly conversation with my boss, either, as to why I was passed over; I think it would require much confidence. Knowing our weaknesses gives courage a place in our lives, and in our work lives. Work situations are crap shots because of the Politics! I'm sure it hurt, in spite of it. Sorry! Did distraction catch you off guard? Well, maybe something else was more important to you?

Just because you needed a change of pace, doesn't mean they wanted to find someone to replace your talent! Of course they will fill their needs, first. Honesty is rare in workplaces.
