Wow that’s a great idea of using exhaust clamp u bolt and those hooks.. I’d have never thought that it’s possible to remove the struts without pulling the half shaft.. which is pretty easy on these B8s btw.. great video I love it if you can provide the dimensions of those j hooks you put on the upper control arm bolts.. btw looking at that rotor that baby has been sitting awhile waiting for for some attention.. dude you have a lot of projects going on 👍🏻👍🏻 great video

Found out this weekend with the q5 if you just take the lower hook off completely before removing the strut & spring life is peachy. Almost makes it easy. After all control arms struts and mounts toe was only off 1.6deg

Can't you put a spring compressor on the spring to compress it? the type that goes on outside of spring.

for the suspension fork i just had the suspension as low as it would go then used a hammer to tap the side of the fork to slide if off the strut
