Great tutorial, I’ve seen other circular peyote tutorials but yours is by far the easiest to understand. I used to think why is circular so confusing, well apparently it’s not, as you wonderfully demonstrated. Many times, even if I know the stitch you are teaching, I’ll still watch because I get great inspiration and techniques from you. 🥰

Thank you this great tutorial. My question, is there a reason you used Toho seed beads instead of Miyuki? Thanks in advance for your answer.
@KarasBeads4 жыл бұрын
Is there a reason I should be using Miyuki? 😌 Miyuki is a brand, so you don’t have to stick to one brand. Use whatever you are comfortable with
@chalminann77464 жыл бұрын
Kara's Beads Thanks for your quick reply, I thought maybe Toho beads were more regular.....will do with what I have in stock. Have a wonderful day.
@KarasBeads4 жыл бұрын
Toho and Miyuki are both Japanese brands and are known to be very consistent in size. I prefer Toho as they are slightly thicker than Miyuki and are twice as cheap. Plus the colour range is fab. You can always use Czech as well, but they are usually quite inconsistent in size and have poor finish if they have coating of some sort. Happy beading 😊

Hi Kara, your designs are beautiful and you explain so well. Thanks. Love your long necklaces. Kara, I have a question. Can we use simple seed beads instead of delicas? Out here, it is very difficult to get much of beads.
@KarasBeads3 жыл бұрын
It always depends on the project, some project are very giving and you can replace beads some are not so much. Unfortunately this one you have to use delica as round beads would be too big. You could try replacing with 15/0 seed beads, but I haven’t tried it myself, so can’t promise it will work 😬

Can it be any smaller diameter of circle instead of 2.5, using an even number of delicas at the beginning, or does it have to be devisable by 4?

I recently started watching one of your videos and immediately fell in love (not in a creepy way.) You sound so cute and nice and you explain everything so well that I subscribed and hit the little bell. I have done 2 of your projects and they came out really nice. I am so glad I watch your video. You are my favorite teacher. I have a question about the charm. Can you make it smaller by reducing the number of beads?
@KarasBeads4 жыл бұрын
Thank you for your kind words! I haven’t tried making it smaller, but don’t see why it wouldn’t work! Let us know how it goes 😊😘

how do you make this into a pendant?
@hautelikecajenn2 жыл бұрын
Hi Kara, I used the 11/0 Miyuki and Toho rounds but it seems like the space between my Delicas and Tohos are too close (on the inside stitch) so when I add my bicones, I only used 10 (added to every other Toho ) . The turnout was still pretty, just wondering what I'm am doing wrong. Once again, it happens when I am adding Tohos to the inside part. (P.S. Thank you for all of your tutorials)

Is there a reason for mixing delicas and tohos? Great video thanks x
@KarasBeads4 жыл бұрын
I’m not really mixing them though. They are different size and shape and I’m using Tohos which are bigger after Delicas and then again increasing size by switching to Bicones. If you don’t gradually increase the size of beads, then your beadwork won’t curle up to form a circle
@angela_perelli_7772 жыл бұрын
hi dear Kara, i love this component and have a question must sb 11/0 be Toho? Is there a reason to use that brand? i prefer Miyuki and have more sb of this brand, cuz toho are less regular and a bit bigger in dia. Love ❤️❤️❤️
@KarasBeads2 жыл бұрын
Hi Angela, I think Miyuki will be fine here. I don’t have any preference between the 2, I like them both ☺️ The only reason I use Toho most is it’s thicker than Miyuki so you end up using less beads and less time to make for example beaded rope 🤓
@angela_perelli_7772 жыл бұрын
@@KarasBeads you are right about beaded rope and toho beads, i agree totally💗
@1178tinkerbell4 жыл бұрын
Hi again, I made one with 60 Miyuki as base, but at the end is not straight and good as the 40 . Why? Is because I put more beads or I have make sth wrong in the beading?
@KarasBeads4 жыл бұрын
You have to follow the tutorial to get the same result. It’s like in geometry, to get the perfect circle you have to use certain size beads and this tutorial works for only 40 as base

In the beginning I thought these would been earrings but I found myself with a circle that is nice but as I am new I don’t know what to do with. I would like to make them earrings but I have to find another video to help me. Also I would like to show us how to stabilize the thread. Thank you
The peyote almost looks easier in the circle! I'm having such a hard time with peyote. I got very frustrated trying to learn it yesterday 😫 *The colors show up just fine!

Margie, the first time some stitches may seem difficult but trust me, if you stay with it, peyote will be your favorite stitch 🌼
