25th April 1976 - Forward Trust 1000 plus Special Saloons - Silverstone

Another silent cine film, this one from a round of the Forward Trust 1000 plus Special Saloon Car Championship at Silverstone.
Martin Birrane (V8 Capri) and Nick Whiting (2.0 Escort) having a great battle for the lead, with only 6 tenths between them at the end, Tony Sugden and Tony Dickinson having an equally entertaining battle in their Escort's with Mike Newman (2.3 Firenza) keeping a close eye on them.
The 1300 class went to Phil Winter from Dave Hancock with Novice Dave Carvell (in only his 3rd ever race) a close 3rd.
