He really was. I have been so impressed by how good Ben is in front of the camera. His commentary is all the better coming from someone with his ability and genuine understanding of the vehicles he drives, but he is also so comfortable and relaxed. I have made tongue in cheek comments in the past that Ben would have been an excellent James Bond, but I have a strong feeling that he really could have played JB as well as anyone, plus he could do all his own driving stunts.

Loved it when the Demo of GTR came out and it was a Lister Storm at Spa if i remember right. Abslutely mental change from earlier games. The thing they nailed best was the sound, it was glorious.

My ex Boss was Richard Gardner who Helped Lister for a number of years. We use to MOT the road cars at our garage in Ashtead. I still have a number of singed pictures on my wall and one of the wheels as a coffee table in my lounge. What a great car and great memories. Thank you. 👍👍

We're the same team mostly. I have a large percentage of the GTR guys here at Straight4 who have been with me through all of the games. GTR, GT Legends, GTR2, Shift, Shift 2, Project Cars 1,2 and 3 and now Project Motor Racing. They are where our talent is and we're going back to roots with this next one.

Imo the biggest flaws in all new titles are the lack of focus on just one series, type and era of cars, then there is the problem of releasing flawed buggy beta version content. If you can bring a well sorted, gt racing series with a fully simulated endurance championship focused on the era up until a decade ago you will find a dedicated hardcore group of fans and avoid becoming just another title in an already overcrowded casual racing game market.

A tyre garage owner in Broxburn owned one of these Lister's, he drove it from Edinburgh Airport to Glasgow airport in 24 minutes !!!! Hunted by the traffic police he was nearly caught but just made it back to the warehouse and the staff surrounded the car with hundreds of tyres , hidden in plain sight it sat there for years , red in colour when I first saw it I thought ugly ford Capri body kit , then it left me on my Suzuki gxr750 like I was on a moped . 😂

As a young lad, I was lucky enough to sit in a Lister Storm at Silverstone during the LG Super Racing Weekend. I believe it was Jamie Campbell-Walter's car. It must have just come in from a session, I can't quite remember, but it was roasting hot in the cockpit, lol! I remember remarking something along the lines of "Does it have an air conditioner?" and the driver laughing and saying something like "I wish it did! That's the air conditioning there (pointing to a duct), the air sometimes comes in, but it's conditional!". Gorgeous car, one of my all-time favourite GT cars!

Thank you Stig for such a great drive in this car. From the moment I saw this car I loved the way it looked, way more than the other GT1 cars. I drove it in a sim called GTR1 and GTR2 and it sounded great in there also. I am so glad to see you doing what you love, and seeing one of my favorite memories in action. We didn't get to see them much in USA at the time because there was no internet, and our channels didn't follow anything but Nascar sadly. If it hadn't been for the Simracing game, I would have no idea what that car was. Thanks again Stig!!

I'm am one of those people who know the Lister Storm from games and I thought it was the coolest car in the game. I can't remember what I played, but there was a McLaren F1 race car available in the same class and was the car to beat, but I wanted to race the Lister most of all. That black livery is iconic to me, genuinely envious of Ben being able to get up close and drive what is an incredibly rare and deeply cool car.

This car was sooooo far ahead of its time- LEGENDARY!!! I remember seeing it in a world of Vipers, Ferrari F40’s and McLaren F1 GTR’s and saying “what is that!!!????” Totally the Batmobile on steroids! its engineers KNEW what they were doing! Easily in my top 5 greatest GT cars of all time!! I’ve got almost every version in 1/43 scale, now if only they did a 1/18 scale model- anyone listening out there? Love this car!!!🤘

The Jaguar V12 was not 2 V6 engines welded together, it was 2 Straight 6:s welded together. V6 : \ \ \ / / / Straight 6 : # # # # # # Also this Lister was a GT2 car, in 2005, the FIA GT class name changed from GT2 to GT1, but the cars were the same as in 2004
