It would be nice if China and India can resolve the border issue, but we all know it was the British who set up such a conflict before they let India return to independent. And would be nice if the Pakistan/India difference can be resolve too, and hopefully India's president, Modi or whoever would stop teaming up with US and play politics. Honestly, if India and China work together, India can prosper much faster and develop itself, especially cities near China, or cities that near the sea to work trades. That way, life would slowly get better for people in India, poverty can slowly decrease too instead of increasing at a fast pace along with the population. But it's understandable whoever takes power in the India government won't get an easy job, given all those politics, corruptions and wealthy organizations that needs to be delt with.

This is especially the case with the distance required to cover in India, the only places were a Shinkansen level HSR would work are specific ones going into Delhi and Hyderabad Capitals. Also China is in nearly $1 Trillion debt because of this HSR business, if I remember correctly they were only supposed to build 3 Tracks cause it was feasible, then got carried away with money laundering and political postering using transportation infrastructure. The price is not the key. The key is the meal doesn't taste good. I would prefer instant noodle when travalling on trains.

@@oinamronenzaaa4923 It's not universally known as 'HSR'. I just wanted to let you know that's not a common Acronym across the Anglosphere. You're an exception and you'd be the rare one especially in Mainland China where anyone who has a car uses a car instead. Chinese will take their own car even when it will greatly increase their travel time. They would rather wait in a 7-hour long traffic jam to get back to their home city than take a Fast Train that could take less than 1 hour. That's how much Chinese prefer taking their own vehicles over "HSR". Of course, they aren't that unusual. Americans drive cars whenever they can. Nearly everyone in the USA has a car and often 2 cars. They've had cars for 70 years. It was normal for a family to have a family car half-a-century ago. Everyone. Chinese are much the same - if they can arrange their own personal car, their own free place, their own temperature, play their own music, stop and star when they choose, take side-visits or sightseeing when they want - they always take the personal car. Do not compare Indian railway system with Chinese one. We have to consider what investment will bring the best benefit to its people. China develops the HSR partly because it wants to diversify high speed travel from air to train in order not to be depending on European/American dominance and China knows it could not develop the commercial planes in short time. What India need is to improve the existing railway system to provide better cargo transportation and affordable passenger service. In fact, a better connecting system to link food producing area by road to the railway system is something to start with.

KCIC will be managed by Chinese team at first, to training local manager and engineer. Most important, China fully transferred all technology to Indonesia. Japan and Western countries will never do such things so unwise.

How’s your family in Shanghai under the lockdown recently? There were complaints about all sorts of things, would love to hear your opinions. Please stay safe and my best wishes to your lovely family.❤️

Some parts of Shanghai don't do well.To be honest the situation depends on the local government(80%) and citizens(20%) if people in your community work together you will live well and if they don't you may only got only a little free food and sth else (you could buy online but with much higher price)

When you come to China high -speed rail, if your income is not particularly high, it is recommended not to buy food on the train. It is mainly expensive, and the taste is not very good.Generally, take a high -speed rail, with instant noodles, self -heated foods or direct takeaway.

What do you expect ? Chinese have the BEST High Speed Railway in the world, even though I'm an Englishman, I've to surrender that crown to them, currently they're unbeatable in that technology.
