Congratulations on your 18th marathon!!! That is amazing! Thank you so much for including the Wear Blue Remembrance mile in your vlog! I never thought I would run a marathon...however I ran the 2021 San Antonio Marathon too with Wear Blue in honor of my brother that was killed in action in Afghanistan. I was one of 21 Gold Star Family members that ran in honor of our Fallen Heroes. My brother was honored with one of the posters and flags on the Blue Mile. I actually saw the Wear Blue volunteer that was holding his flag on your vlog! Your vlog brought back so many memories of the course that I enjoyed ....as well as ALL those HILLS! I thought Texas was supposed to be flat! lol I cant wait to follow your journey marking off the other 32 states!!! I have always wanted to run "A" race in all 50 states. But not necessarily a marathon in all 50! ;) Stay Strong!

I don't know how I missed this comment but I so appreciate you sharing your story with me here! I am thrilled you were able to see your brother's flag on my vlog! That makes me smile knowing that it was captured for you to look back on. That mile definitely had be a bit choked up! And omg... the HILLS of this race. Especially mile 23 x_x. It will haunt my dreams forever haha. Happy running, friend! I'm glad you're here for the journey.

You crushed this race!! San Antonio is amazing! If anyone seeing this goes there, you HAVE to go to El Camino! Highlight of the trip (besides Riley being a Bo$$ of course!)
