Just ran my 181st half marathon. As a life-long runner the most important thing about distance running is consistency! For me it is a lifestyle. It is just part of my everyday life. Stay consistent in any workout program, make it your lifestyle and you will age healthy & gracefully! No big secrets, consistency is key!

I got choked up watching this. I remember when I ran my first and only 1/2 marathon. it was such an emotional feeling. Even after the race friends and family wanted to celebrate and I wasn’t my usual chatty self. I think i was just so overwhelmed with emotions that I did it. So proud of you girl! It’s great feeling to accomplish it.

I remember watching the first videos in which you mentioned running and I could not help but to think "I could never do that" , even in the moments in which you judged yourself the most because of it, I can assure you it amazed me every time, to the point that I started running myself (still am!) and to see you crossing that finish line made me tear up thinking about how far you have come and how far you have pushed me and so many others! Sorry for the essay, but at the end of the day I just want to say thank you for sharing every step of the way, it makes a world of difference 💕

i am crying just reading this 😭😭😂 goodness i am so happy to hear that. i could have never predicted that this is where i would be in my journey but i am so grateful for every mess up and failure in between, and getting the opportunity to share it all with you, thank you for allowing me that privilege.

Here's a suggestion you definitely didn't ask for: do a short course triathlon! I trained for and completed one last fall and it has been the biggest game changer for me to get me to appreciate all the amazing things my body can do, and the mix of sports helps keep training interesting! Congratulations on your race, you killed it!

AHHHHH IM LITERALLY RUNNING MY FIRST IN MAY. I have been running with the NRC app for about 8 months now and I’m LOVING IT (also using the half marathon plan). Seeing you doing this race knowing that I’m in the same exact situation as you (never did long distance, first time racing, using the same plan, etc) made me feel SO many feels. I got butterflies, cried, screamed, anything. This video got me so pumped for my race!! I just wish people knew how emotional this journey is for people like us! I just know I’m gonna cry when I cross the finish line, and I fully expect people to think I’m a little over dramatic…but I don’t care. THANK YOU FOR THIS VIDEO! CONGRATULATIONS! THIS IS SO AWESOME!

I grew up absolutely hating all forms of physical activity, I was a complete couch potato and I didn't participate in any sports. Then after my first year in college I fell in love with the gym, and over quarantine I really began to take running seriously. Now I'm in the running club at my university for cross country & track and I'll be running my second half marathon in May 😊 Kudos to you for going on this journey!

This video honestly made me so emotional. I remember watching your first running video and empathizing so much with how much you hated the treadmill (it's still the worst) and now watching you cross the finish line inspires me so much! I'm training for my first half marathon at the end of May and I've loved going on this journey with you! I was dreading my run for today because it's gross outside but watching this 100% inspired me to just put my shoes on and go do it. You should be so proud of everything you've accomplished, and thank you so much for sharing it with us!!

Noooo my fat thumbs clicked “dislike” and it said it shared with the creator! Undo, undo! Definitely LIKE!! 🤣 I was so excited to see this video and that your race went so well! I ran the Shamrock Run in Portland (with thousands and thousands of people, so much fun! ❤️🥺) and it was the rainiest, windiest, most disgusting weather 😅 but I was so in love with the race experience I somehow ignored it all. Following along your journey kept me motivated during my training and on race day! Your experience was exactly like mine too-started with the 2:30 pacers, thought “nahh I can run faster!” and then hung with 2:15 as much as I could with the crowd around them! I hope you continue to love running as much as you did during this journey and I’m looking forward to seeing whatever inspires you next!

I teared up a bit when I saw you cross the finish line (can see I’m not the only one in the comments!) such an amazing achievement. You should be SO proud of yourself for this. But also, you should be so proud of how many people you’ve motivated and encouraged with these videos and this series. You’re such a positive and uplifting person and your focus on personal achievement rather than aesthetics or more superficial endeavours had really spoken to me (not that those things are bad, I just feel like your content has meant a lot more to me personally). So for that I want to say thank you, Taylor! And well done again 🙏❤️
