26 in 21 - Onesie Memory Quilt Creation

Welcome to 26 in 21, a personal quilting challenge I'll be embarking on during 2021.
If I learned anything from the 2020 pandemic experience, it is that I'm happier when I'm being consistently productive, and this will help do that. Join me while I create and vlog my way through 26 quilts during 2021, creating a new quilt every two weeks.
Here we are, back at it again! This time, I'll be doing a simple onesie quilt for a college friend of mine for her little one! She gathered onesies with her husband as they travelled before they even became pregnant with their little one, and now that they have outgrown all the outfits, she asked me to make a quilt out of them all! You're about to see the original plan, how it changes midway, and the (almost) completion of the quilt top! Can we also all agree that "onesie" is an annoying word to spell correctly?

But she is the owner of the clothes and therefore can do with it what she wants. Besides, you don’t know the whole situation. My mother used to repurpose our old clothes because we couldn’t afford to buy new blankets for ourselves or gifts for other family’s children, so she’d make stuffed animals out of old clothes.
