Oh a wonderful revelation for me...I have a mini pair of blue jeans I will incorporate into my son’s memory quilt which is over the years memories of his adventures! Thank you for sharing your techniques and thought process❣️. That baseball onesie is adorable. Great idea using the back of the other T-shirt as the backing for the onesie! Such a special project.

I love how your videos are polished but still Real! I had to invest in a hump jumper to help me sew denim and bulky seams. My machine will skip stitches unless I lock the foot in place or use the hump jumper. This was such an inspiring video! I love to learn more techniques and you are full of tasty morsels! Thanks Lisa!

THANK YOU SO MUCH for posting this applique process to KZbin!! I LOVE that you "kept it real" with your thread jams! I'm working on a onesie quilt for a little girl I used to nanny and your video has been invaluable! I'm not on Facebook, so I REALLY appreciate you posting to KZbin! I've subscribed and would love to show you my work in progress if I can figure out how to do that! Computers are NOT my strong suit! Thanks again! Best, Steph

I love this!! I’m working on a quilt with my favorite outfits of my kids baby clothes 💕 once finished with the blocks and everything, how should we go about quilting it? Tying? Or how would I machine quilt it (my mom has a machine) would you just go around the baby clothes and only quilt the extra space on the block? Thank you!

Hi Lisa, Love your tutorials. Do you quilt over the baby clothes when you are quilting the quilt?
@Love4Scrapbooking Жыл бұрын
Hey Lisa, I came across this tutorial and wanted to say thank you. I was unsure of how to add small items like this to a quilt and this was very helpful. By the way, the piece of paper in the top right corner with the numbers on it, is that the pattern you came up with for this quilt on how to lay it out?

Lisa I am about to start one of these quilts for my 2 year old grandson. Have a question about how you would quilt a block like this? I’m thinking about quilting my blocks individually putting them together with sashing. But these outfits are small but still pretty big to only quilt outside the the garment. Any advice you could give me would be appreciated.
@karaholland72494 жыл бұрын
Do you have to use a blanket or zig zag stitch? I have a straight stitch only Juki machine & would love to sew full baby outfits into my quilts, but I didn’t know how it would hold up with a straight stitch...any pointers?

Hi Bertha, typically we use cotton when making quilts, however....you can make a quilt with all types of fabric, you just need to know how to deal with them all.
