NOTIFICATION SQUAD: What was your score out of 26? To be honest, if you got less than I did a congratulations is probably in order, given that you're likely to be in the minority. If any of you can shed some light on why Japanese girls love beetles, please share your wisdom. For me, the answer lies beyond the realms of comprehension. Right, I'm off to cry in a cupboard.

The rolling up of sleeves is an interesting one. In history, men in Japan typically wear clothing that covers their arms. It was an opportune place to conceal valuables or a weapon. After the US rolled in, with men having sleeves rolled up, with arms on display, it has become something unwittingly sexually attractive to Japanese women, because it was not typically a body part that was ever afforded to them prior.
@Northanteus

I assume that rolled up sleeves makes their minds subconscioisly think that the guy is working with their hands a lot, therefore they're strong.💪 🤣

@Yul Hubbart Well Yul, that's a pretty harsh. Chiaki did not write this list. It is obviously written by teenage Japanese girls who swoon over handsome waiters, who wear a type of clothing (??? Seriously, what!?!?!). Chiaki's purpose in this video is to serve as a Japanese guide for Chris, interpreting what the words mean in context of Japanese society. Chiaki is also very much playing it for laughs. Fail, fail, fail as she gleefully keeps Chris' score! Comedy gold.

@Yul Hubbart Yeah, his content is very dry wit and sarcasm mixed with a bit of self deprecating so she's probably playing a lot into that. I took it more as them be playful as when he brings up the point that it seems like this is just one random girl's opinion Chiaki actually agrees with him about how very specific everything is. They've done a video before on this topic that was far more interesting and probably more accurate called "How to Date Japanese Girls".

Lol totally born in August...am I the only one that picked up the flirty vibe though with her towards Chris? I think he just is so cynical and self-deprecating he doesn't pick it up and kinda kills it lol...

@@AronUchiha91 I'm 99% sure that this survey was written by a skinny Japanese guy that likes coke and works at a cafe, and not actually surveyed Japanese women. I know from Scuba trips in SE Asia that the Japanese girls were fawning over the 6'4" blonde blue eyed muscular guy that didn't roll his sleeves up and never smiled.

You should totally have another video where Chiaki helps you look more desirable to Japanese women. Minus the hair dye and exercise.

Include the hair dye, but bleach it blonde like a lot of Japanese men did in the mid 2000s. Could start an Eminem tribute act while he's at it

Just give 'em one of these! " Hey, are you ok? Do you want to come to my place for a Rice Omellette tonight? It's my specialty! I'll cook a steak for myself though, because I like eating meat! Do you like cola? It's my favorite! I get hungry and thirsty after hanging out with my large group of friends at my athletic club (of which I am a member). I eat and drink lots, but I am still thin and muscular ;) Ill see you in the Harajuku disctrict for lots of alcohol, after I finish my shift at the coffee shop with my younger brother. Im the guy with the big smile, short black hair, white shirt, hooded sweatshirt (with the beetle on the front and sleeves rolled up) and navy blue pants. You'll see me but you won't smell me (no aftershave or cologne you see). I have an accessory for you too by the way, but you'll have to wait til your birthday ;) I hope you aren't like my three previous girlfriends. All of them were travelling in August, when my birthday is! Anyway, I'll text/email/call you again soon! P.S lets get married! Also my clothes cost less than 10k yen/month! "
