Imagine 2600 being DUELIST. All because they don't want to include any of the teams under 1000 rating - which is a whooping 30-35% of all teams. That makes Glad closer to top 0.2% and not top 0.5%. It should be 2480-2500~ ish but blizzard doesn't give a shit about fixing it. Still a chance you get Glad dude - remember, they need 2 full weeks to manually review all eligible teams b4 handing out end of season rewards, that's the time they DQ any teams that don't qualify, bumping you guys into range. I think you will get it my boi, stay positive

@@midnattenmugharbil74 Lowering the requirement? You clearly don't understand that Gladiator was always originally top 0.5% *of all active teams* in TBC, and as it stands right now it's top 0.2% due to Blizzard not including such a large amount. That's an error on their part.

@@midnattenmugharbil74 Its not lowering it, top 0.5% is top 0.5% no matter how you slice it. It is inorganically deflated which means it needs to be adjusted manually to be brought DOWN to a healthy range.

Unbelievably heart broken I am at a loss for words. The amount of stress and anxiety we went through on that last week, like Kargoz said we had multiple sessions where we ended 50+ rating above the cutoff, mentally checked out thinking we had completed our task. Just for it to inflate over and over again due to removing placements + glad boosts. There are numerous teams that ended above us, yet they never peaked 2.6 themselves, they paid for +100 rating and got their glad from the hands of someone else. In hindsight I would change nothing that we did at the end, 5 rating above the cutoff the game is telling us within minutes of the season end while almost all of the comps that queue at that rating are counters to our comp.

It has nothing to do with arena boosting, people are clueless. It's a retail garbage system that inflated the TBC, it's been obviously for most that 3k ratings will be here since the first weeks. Also, a lock that runs circles with his rogue trying to reach an enemy instead of moving the opposite direction, cba. Anyway, unlucky, deserved glad tho.

Arena is dead. It is the same ppl playing with the same ppl they've played with for a decade. Half the glad spots are r1/streamers and their alts. A quarter of the spots are boosts. MAYBE 1/4th are regular joes pushing without the help of a pro. Going forward it will be impossible for anybody to get glad because the same ppl getting glad this szn will be getting it next. If you didn't get Glad this season, GL getting anybody that did get Glad this season to play with you in s2. Toxic community.
