I have a strong strong feeling that if you continue to use this foundation and/or their skin care range, by the time you are in your 40s and 50s, you will still look fabulous. I'm a guy and I use La Prairie cleansing foam and their skin caviar luxe cream moisturizer... It's stupid expensive but I'm 48 and honestly it makes my skin look and feel amazing.. I am not surprised that you are loving their foundation-- try the skincare- I can't imagine you won't absolutely love it! Your brows are fantastic, btw!

I've been using this product for 7 years. I have super sensitive, dry, eczema prone skin, and it's the only foundation that doesn't dry me out, or irritate my eczema. However, each couple of years I convince myself there is something else out there. Clearly I haven't found it yet because this product is seriously AMAZING! It looked amazing on you! Glad you didn't use powder because this is a REVIEW and a powder would have changed how the foundation performed. The point is to show us how the product stands up all day and you did just that by not altering it with powder or blotting sheets. THANK YOU for keeping it real. It only looked oily on the t-zone and a little on the chin but your cheekbones looked amazing with so little effort thanks to the product and you mentioned all this in the video! I have dry skin so it would work well. Wish I could afford it, maybe one day for special events.

It's affordable when you do the math ... It lasts a long time... Average is about 6 months so that's like $2/day - some reviews say it has lasted a year since very little does go a long way. Worth it if you have sensitive skin

TBH, I believe you pay for quality. I have a lot of expensive make-up and skin care. Having said that, prior to seeing you use the $265.00 LP foundation, there is no way I would have spent that much on the foundation. BUT, it looked absolutely gorgeous on your skin and according to your observations and what you showed us: it did not separate or look cakey . I too use La Prairie Caviar foundation, my bottle has lasted me well over a year and a half as I use a very small amount, my complexion looks creamy, smooth and even. the concealer isn't the worst but I could do without it as I am fiercely loyal to the beautiful Sisley concealer. Ever since I have been using LP I get compliments on how fresh and pretty my skin looks and at 63 that makes me feel like a million.

i tried this instore after watching a week ago. it felt incredible. did get some colour oxidation (which the consultant DID say she thought was possible with the colour we used due to my skin tone, even though it was a great match for my skin colour at time of application). She did give me several colour samples to try (i live 2 hrs away from where it's sold). Some people may be turned off that the counter want to try it on you first and take your details - but if you're serious about buying this (and lets face it, it is EXPENSIVE) i don't understand people being put off or offended by this. Sometimes companies actually do highly regard their hard earned reputation and want their clients the best possible product for their skin colour/type. A beautiful foundation that I will wear for more important occasions, and no, I am not affluent!

First and foremost, to each their own. Spending $265 on any foundation, I think is just way too much. If your skin isn't properly taken care of no amount or kind of foundation on the planet will help you. I had a MUA friend that only uses their anti-aging foundation ($115) on her clients. I had the opportunity to try it and and I wasn't impressed at all. I think that if you have a good skincare routine and a decent to good foundation (which doesn't have to cost this much) your skin will look amazing like Chloe's does even without makeup ;) The foundation does have an amazing finish, without a doubt, but I know many other foundation that have the same effect but cost 5 times less. Thanks for the demo it was very useful for comparison to my other foundations.
