Interesting that you are digging a ploughed farmers field and not found any buckles of much older coins. Buttons are a good sign, just a question of putting the detector over the hoard. Good luck

@@quotemenot7520 I found the 1500 year old fibula and a 400-500 year old button and a handfull of 1700-1800 buttons and coin here but this end of the field is pretty dry it seems, but yeah no buckles yet tho :)
