These old traditions and practices still speak to our soul, don't they? I love the part about everything being included., nothing left out, even the things we are afraid of.

I love your mythological videos! Being a Jungian Analyst, it compliments how Jung appreciated the old ways and how they are still psychologically valid. When we stray away from these old ways, we still have the patterns behind them deep in our unconscious. It's so beautiful, Magdelna, ...thank you!

Thank you! Exactly, those patterns are very old and very deep within us :)

We have have had the Summer and Winter Soltice at Stonehenge for thousands and thousands of years. Paganism was never fully destroyed. But thank you anyway. Xxx Best wishes to you.

This was wonderful! Thank you so much! We did the oplatek growing up and I never noticed if my grandmother did leave a plate for the ancestors as a kid but it seems like something she would do and I just never noticed it? I have been following a lot of the pagan traditions and trying to learn Polish as well and it has been so grounding and wonderful. I feel so much closer to my ancestors and heritage. Thank you for sharing!

Oh, that's beautiful that you're coming back to your roots! Learning the language is a great way to do that for sure! I have an aunt who lives in the USA and she always sends a Christmas card with oplatek inside - to share it with her family :)

You seemed to highlight both the Solstice and Christmas Eve. But they are different aren't they? Or are the meanings blended?
@wolfofcoins10 ай бұрын
In pre-Christian times the solstice was celebrated, then the Christian holiday got blended with the old and that's why I don't separate them.
