Since I'm planning on walking the Camino soon I started looking up info about and cam across your videos. I am thoroughly enjoying each one. I wanted to tell you Happy Birthday. My wife and I were married on May 14, My daughter and her husband were married on May 14. May daughter also gave birth to twins on May 14. So I guess I will not forget your birthday.

Congrats on an amazing achievement - reaching 38... joking! Completing the Camino but even more creating this amazing vlog - easily the best on the camino. Love the drone footage - I've walked the camino 4 times and have never seen the towns from above in this way, it gives a whole new perspective. Amazing job.

What a great video of this leg. I stayed in the village just beyond O Ceb, then walked to Samos instead of stopping at Triacastella. I woke up on my 46th birthday in Samos on May 8, and spent a birthday rest day touring the monastery and lolling around the village. I think what was really surprising about your video is how many other pilgrims were on the path with you between Tria and Samos. I only saw 2-3 people the entire walk -- every village in ruins or closed tight, no bars, no restaurants, no restrooms, and that one vending machine was out of order. I ran out of water. I lost my wireless earbuds on the road somewhere. I actually had a really bad trip/fall on the path along the highway (I had tripped a few times, but that was the very first time I actually went down with the full pack on -- the shoulder and arm I landed on were sore for a month). I walked into Samos on May 7, so only a week earlier than you did the previous year. Where were all of the people when I walked the leg? Anyways, loving the videos! Thanks for all of your hard work producing them.

Rudeness happens a lot during last week on the camino.It usually comes not from Peregrinos (those who have have walked from the French end),but from those who only do the last 100km - they are the ones in leather jackets and high heels.......you know the type!

The ones that aren't are on metal chains 😂 I thought dogs may be an issue but 0 problems, only hiccup was a cat that I went to stroke and it bit me! 😄

Hi mary, thanks for watching. I enjoyed walking in April. It was a bit cold at the beginning and wet in the middle but Spain caught a weird and unusual weather during that time. I reached fisterra as the summer broke and temperatures were in the mid 20s celcius. To be honest, too hot to walk. I enjoy it when it's a bit cooler.

That Horreo in your video is actually an Ifugao House Design here in the Mountain Province of the Philippines. It was the only horreo we saw with that design on the Camino. Probably the design or the house was brought back from here, since the Philippines was a Spanish Colony for 400 years

I feel your pain when you mentioned the rude pilgrims. Unfortunately they are there and I too have encountered rude ones on the Camino. All I could do is shake my head and wonder why. Anyway, I will say this, I've done the Camino multiple times and I never saw Americans act rudely. Just sayin...;-)
