Another great lesson - thank you. Girls who work in konbini say 'irasshaimase' in such a delightful way it almost seems like they are singing it, and sounds really genuine, even though they have to say it hundreds of times a day! It never fails to make me smile and I always nod to them.

I seriously can't thank you enough for these. I've been learning Japanese for about 5 months and this was an amazing refresher.

Great! Much better than the average "useful phrases" I've seen. Appretiated how effective you presented this and the complete lack of "showboating". Straight to the point. Great you used kana/kanji in addition to romaji.

Hi Norman thank you for this video it actually teaches me Japanese, the other videos on KZbin teach the phrase without explaining what the words mean. Please make many more videos like this one where you explain what the words mean and the sentence structure it is excellent. I found this video very helpful for learning basic Japanese.

Japanese is so much easier than Chinese. Struggling over here😢. Should have studied Japanese.

Might I also suggest to people planning to visit Japan that if a Japanese person is talking too quickly (why do they ALWAYS talk so fast???) you can politely ask them to speak more slowly by saying: 'mou yukkuri onegaishimasu'.
