The red tsingy in the north of Madagascar is a unique place of red sandstone eroded by the rain and wind. It is called tsingy because the form looks like the grey limestone mountains of Madagascar, but the sandstone is soft (like Bryce canyon in the USA) while the 'real tsingy' is grey and sharp as a knife.
This film is taken with a DJI mavic 2s drone.
In 2022 we visited Madagascar for the 2nd time for 7 weeks. We started in the south (Tulear) and drove north to Antsirabe, followed by a week adventure to the tsingy de Bamaraha. Part 3 of our trip was in the north (Ankarana) and after flying back to Tana the next week we followed the indri's in Mantadia and Andisabe. The last week we relaxed in St Marie island.
