The blade is straight but face is not purely flat but little curved mostly. Flat face was mordern thing and blade curving is more nowadays even for tennis balls bats they do now

I had a SS Viv Richard ton bat, but that was in the year of 2006/07. This is impossible that 27 years of this bat. Because SS launched this in early 20th Century.

This was given by a player aged in 20’s whose father used when he played in India for state level in 1990’s.
