CA cricket bat series 12000 and other 1000's series have really impressed CricFix USA recently. Quality of wood is awesome especially more spread across india, pakistan, sri lanka and Bangladesh.
The bat had so many tapes that once removed the bat got chipped badly we had to cover the Damaged Toe Repair, Crack Repair, fill up open and lost piece spots, refurbish, added toe guard, handle crack repair and finally complete polishing and fiber face tape applied.

I am addicted to watching cricket bat repairs. They do wonderful work. This one though was a bit too damaged under all that glue. If you faced one of the Australian or South African fast bowlers it would shatter. This owner will probably not face that type of bowling attack but I would not trust the bat in any match.

The crack fix sometimes ends up with air pockets. For Asian conditions it’s ok but for USA we need solid punch so I figured out those air pockets and fixed it

A cricket bat has a defined geometry to it. By just sanding the faces you destroy the designer geometry. It may look nice but as a cricket bat you could use it as a mallet.

Good repair job .. I just found it funny , firstly the bat had more sticky tape on it then wood at the start. Then once fixed it has more Glu then actual wood and the guy using the bat at the end couldn't play for shit 😂

You are right but glue Mended with wood powder so technically wood with glue giving the solid feel with fiber scuff and there is no delamination after we fixed.
