You are right that grapple is phenomenal, looks like it holds 2-3 times as much as that little Mattel Barbie trailer. Unbelievable the amount of black cherries in your area_must be cherry central.Good luck with the pond and the big red-maple.

I know you said that ash was probably no good but I’d cut into a few n make sure, you might be surprised if it’s not laying directly on the ground that stuff will last a while. We are getting that on n off rain too just makes getting wood out a pain. Thumbs up

Awesome place, I can understand why one can get distracted by that place. Deer, and beautiful wooded area to harvest trees that need culling out and using those that have fallen. It's called good stewardship of the land. Wish I lived closer wouldn't mind a piece of the maple. However, I just recently started to have one that was on the side of the road milled.

At least that's what the weather guessers are spreading???? Hope you can get that nice buck with the bow. Maybe the daughter can bag him if you don't run him off before gun season. Good luck to all. Hey Mike love the videos. You think that grapple is great wait till you put a logging winch on the back of that RK37 and turn that tractor into a little skidder. I put a Farmi logging winch on the back of my MF 1540 and it saves so much time.

Greetings Mike - Your grapple is more of what I would call a rake grapple, or root grapple, due to being designed and built with the somewhat shorter bottom tines. The shorter bottom tines make your grapple useful for working the upper 8 to 10 inches of soil on the forest floor (or anywhere else) if you should ever need to, or want to. Allow me to point out another desirable feature of your grapple. The ends of your grapple are not "boxed in" (similar to a loader bucket) like so many grapple designs are. My grapple is a 72" Legend Attachments Utility Grapple (much longer bottom tines), which I use on a Branson 55hp tractor, almost identical to your RK55. It's a great grapple, but when I bought it, I noticed the ends were a bit closed in and remarked about them to the dealer. My grapple is an amazingly capable tool and there's no way I would like to go back to not having it, but if I had it to do all over again, I would look for a design with open ends like yours. It's just more versatile overall, it seems. I apologize for the long comment, but every time the subject of grapples comes up, there are quite a number of commenters expressing interest. This seemed like a good opportunity to point out a couple of differences in grapple design and function. Thanks to all of you for putting up with me.

Mike, after doing my homework on several different brands of tractors, you and your video's have sold me on the RK37. The RK24 is a little small and the RK55 is little to big for my needs. The RK37 is perfect. RK includes so many nice features which are standard as opposed to other companies charging extra. Throw in an 8 year warranty and the lowest price and it makes it a no brainer. Keep the videos coming. I watch them almost every night. Take care, Jim from Central Florida.

Jimmy Collins I’m looking at the RK37 and RK55 and also in central Florida. Which 37 are you going with, the hydro or shuttle shift and have you purchased it yet? Cab or open station? It’s gotten hard to decide. I need (want?) a tractor to try and tame this property. Decisions, decisions..........

So out of all 3 tractors which one do u like the best? I have a john deere 2 series and i found it not to be big enough. So i was thinking a 3 series or maybe a 4 series but cab or no cab? The 3 series with a cab is $10,000 + more then an open station.

Luckily, i have only had one very minor issue with the RK55 and RK resolved it in a timely fashion. I just hope it continues to do well because reading on the forums, the parts availability and service is very sub par. However, it does seem to depend on where you have the service done. Some RK owners praise their service department and others have such bad experiences that they wish they never bought an RK tractor. I have about 3yrs of warranty left but again, the warranty is only as good as the parts availability and the service. Your videos do make you think that RK tractors are awesome as long as they dont need service
