@@yeahbuddy7598 well the first problem would be if the owner doesn't know his thing about cars. This particular type has one kryptonite, axle half shaft, easily breakable. Otherwise this car is just durable. Don't floor it when the temperature ain't right somewhere around 90°C. If your guy is a car guy, there should be no problem, ask him what oil was he providing and all that. I bet you know what questions to ask.

@@yeahbuddy7598 Overall it is very reliable, i did 200.000km with my old mk2, mostly stage 1+. Only trouble was a wobbly seat mount at 190.000km, it also happened in my previous MK2 so check it. Those cars are quite old now so also check the plastic bodykit on the side, they like to come off if the car slept outdoor for 10 years.

Do you still have the car? They do have Cylinder liners problem. Like every 100 engine 1 of them goes because of this. But if you do the block Mode you have a really funny car then

Nice, but with Stage 1 and 270 hp it's more 6.2 from 0 to 100 and not 6.8 - if the tuning is done properly. 6.8 to 7.0 is stock.

@@VFraunhofer That is an OEM feature and is actually there to prevent launching the car in the first gear at high rpm, it is not a traditional soft limiter - which is made to help launching the car at a specific rpm. The car doesn’t build boost and also just to mention I wouldn’t launch the ST, the driveshafts are really weak, they fail often.
