It's cool to see Larry not afraid or ashamed doing things out of his comfort zone: rock climbing, calisthenics, now obstacle course... I hope he will keep working on his mobility and cardio, he can be a true athlete.

Let's face it, bodybuilders don't like to do cardio. That's why they aren't prepared for these obstacle courses. They'd rather do muscle hypertrophy training, to look bigger. Still, cardio training of this type could be a real game changer for increasing endurance.

A few months ago, I started noticing how my energy and motivation were fading, and it really hit me that my unhealthy eating habits and low testosterone were playing a huge role in it. I stumbled upon a book called ‘You Are Stronger Than You Think’ by Borlest, and it completely shifted my perspective. It talks about how both your diet and hormones can seriously impact your progress, and it honestly made me rethink a lot. I’ve been applying some of the tips, and I’m already feeling more driven and focused on improving myself. Just thought I’d share in case anyone else is feeling stuck like I was

Alot of marines are mentally weak people who couldn't handle the real world and job market. They couldn't handle having to make life decisions for themselves and so need the comfort of being told what to do in their life like when they were at school. Don't tell me a marine is mentally stronger than a dude pulling 60 hour weeks in a competitive industry while keeping up with bills and family commitments. Any pleb can suck it up and run until they throw up or carry a log.

Funny, it's only like a week ago that Larry and his coach made fun of 'Doctor' Greg for suggesting more cardio. All jokes aside. I would love to see a whole video series where Larry keeps doing functional training, calisthenics, cardio, different challenges, etc. And then within a few years he will have learned a bunch of skills + getting way healthier in the process, and providing S tier content for all of us.

As someone who has done that exact obstacle course in Camp Pendleton, it really isn't hard at all. Larry is just in terrible cardiovascular shape and has terrible hip mobility. Almost everyone I saw attempt the course could do it much faster than Larry and that includes chubby 19 year kids and scrawny 150lb guys.

Typically means the opposite, bodybuilding and powerlifting have nothing to do with fitness or athleticism, they both take your body to extremes that aren't good for your health at the highest levels

this is the kind of training people should do along with stretching, a little yoga and sparring, heavybag, double end bag work, mitt work, push ups, pull ups, squats, dips, lunges, climbing etc. ITs not complicated.
