A truly beautiful part of the world, Thanks for posting this, my dad used to fish here in the war, he first took me when I was 9 years old. I'm 62 now. Happy memories.

Thanks Charly, informative video and really useful as previously mentioned to understand the various stretches, parking areas etc. You should be commended for taking the time to do this, excellent and thanks. Hopefully get my first Barbel as a result of seeing your videos.

Hi Tom - I fished Easedike for the first time last night. Watching you mainly blank for barbel at Topcliffe (sorry) i thought i would broaden my horizons. Only 6lb plus but pristine and nearly dragged the rod in... my first Wharfe Barbel - thanks for your DASA videos of the river stretches - they are very useful and help me get the most out of my membership. Catch you soon...

Tom my son and I put the wood seat in a couple of weeks ago, fished the peg opening day, had 9 lost 4. This was my sons 3rd time fishing

Hello Laurence. Having walked all that way you deserved your success. I hope you explained to your son that it isn't usually like that. That was some opening day. I didn't identify where it was as whoever had put it there would have been annoyed if someone else had been on it as a result of the video. Good luck for the rest of the season.

AS YOU ARE FILMING THE CURLEW AND OYSTERCATCHER THEIR IS A BIRD IN THE BACKGROUND WITH A LOUD TWIRLING CALL. ANY IDEA WHICH BIRD THIS IS?
@Charlyfarly26 жыл бұрын
Hi John. It is a curlew. They tend to make the call as they are coming in to land.
