278: Stump Bucket Build - Part 1

Witness my attempt to build a stump bucket from 1/2" scrap steel and a 3/8" quick attach plate. Bottom plate is about 42" long and 12" wide.

Thank you! I had it in my mind to make it heavy enough for a skid steer to use. I'm hoping it's not too big for the Massey!

That thing looks wicked Logan. Looks like it is all about business. Barb and I went to see the movie “The Sound of Freedom” on the 4th. Don’t know if you were able to see it or not. I think today is the last day for it to be in theaters. They made this movie 5 years ago and have run into roadblock after roadblock to get it into theaters. There are many theaters that won’t allow it to be shown. That should tell you all you need to know. Gods children are not for sale.

That is coming a long. You going to put some serrations along the edges?

Yes... Thinking of welding on a serrated bar (if I can make one that looks decent) so it can be replaced easily and won't create stress cracks in the main steel. Thoughts?
