The last two Vector clips are probably the clearest explanation of Energy that Martin puts on the ball. The camera angle quartering in front is on the best angle the see the energy field in front, going 180º behind and in front again that he has shown to date. Martin for years has said "I don't need to move forward, I already have forward". The Vector is pricey orientated ahead of the strike and the ball simply gets crushed in the Energy path. Bravo mate!

Finally figured out that by maintaining that pressure away from the apex with the base that I end up very left big toe and right heel oriented until I’m ready to counter the club as it passes me in its orbit. The upshot being that I can now understand the feeling of down, in and forward with the core to redirect and counter the club as it changes ends behind me and starts down. Never could figure that out initially. But you have to never give up that intention until you’re ready to mirror it as the club passes you in the downswing. It why Martin always had a club or stick pointing in a diagonal off the target line in his initial instruction series.

This is the video that connected the final few dots. I’m done. The golf swing has finally been figured out 🔥

Hi Martin, I’ve been through the full series. It’s absolutely brilliant 🤩 I’m just figuring out the finer details of implementation. I notice when I waggle the upper goes in the opposite direction of the feet which tells me I have that part. One thing that slightly confuses me is the trigger or pre-strike. Do you just hold your hands and do it that way or do you conscious push the club towards the ground at a 1o clock opposition put the weight into the left heel and immediately reverse that in starting the swing. Or does holding your hands like in the ‘how to start your swing do all this anyway?’

I have been following your instruction series and really appreciate the content. In Series 5 you use a wheel to describe what I understand as the foundation of your swing mechanics/movement as one continuous motion. I thought this was quite unique and looks like it would produce a Matt Wolff swing as you demonstrate as one pro player who’s swing embodies your method. The part that I am struggling with is I don’t see that when you swing. So is that more of a feeling or are you swinging so fast that it’s not detectable on video🙂?

The move is there in relation to the club. So, if the club gathers momentum quickly...like Jon Rahm or Rory etc, you will see a very different path taken to Matt Wolff. See video 3 for more. :)

@@MartinAyersGolf Thanks, I have watched video 3 several times. I like that Matt Wolff is a slower developing motion as it would provide a better tempo swing 🙂 You asked JH which swing is better (Jon Ralm, Rory or Matt Wolff). I would have thought JH answer would have been Wolff’s swing🙂 You also commented that you Wolff’s practice swing is easier for you than the actual swing. It just seems to me that his swing is a better match for your method. The wheel as mentioned in my earlier comment is what does it for me where you talk about the overall body motion.

I understand why it appears that Wolff's swing is better match. But the whole point is these FUNDAMENTALS fit regardless of the shape you see. The ENTIRE point of this series: The shape of the swing is NOT technique. The swing doesn't begin when the club moves..in fact at that point everything TECHNICAL is already there.

For a Q&A video - starting at 1:05 is this where folks got stack and tilt from e.g. staying forward?
@MartinAyersGolf
@MartinAyersGolf 2 жыл бұрын
I can answer that now. I would say no, because I'm in no way referring to trying to tilt forward, rather alluding to keeping pressure on the club forward as you rotate back. The 3 S&T movements "Tilt, Turn, Extend" I would argue are born from trying to DO the geometry of the swing as viewed from outside looking in. Not at all what I'm trying to say here.

Martin im struggling to pressurise the club. can you pressurise the club by applying pressure down onto the handle which keeps it away from you ?

Yes mate. I deliberately stay away from details of “where” to pressure it away from you as you rotate away from it. That’s the individual part. 👍🏻

@@MartinAyersGolfDo you keep pressure on the club through out the swing?
@MartinAyersGolf

@@TylerBaker-ky7rp Yes. The drag pressure you set up between the two ends is maintained throughout. This is a common question, that I’m planning to address in upcoming videos. Thanks 🙏🏻

It's not abstract if you get a powerful golf swing is NOT a swing but wind up and unwind while staying in the confines of set up.
