I know you gals are getting ready for the end of the trail to come soon. Can't blame you, six months is a long time to be on the trail. But I for one will miss your post. Be sure to let us know what your RV adventure will be for the winter and bring us along!

Beautiful! it’s notoriously windy thru whitewater to the I 10. I’m glad you didn’t get any! . Wicked ascent to San Jac and you still have smiles on your faces😁😁😁 🏔🏕 I am continually blown away by y’all! Enjoy quaint and comfy Idyllwild ☮️

You ladies are very impressive, I hike all this terrain and know what it takes to go up San Jacinto from I-10 carrying water, your right it was abnormally hot weather during the time you did it. Very well done thanks for sharing.

Almost done. Congratulations. Snow Creek Trail from the I10 is my winter training trail and San Jacinto is my summer training in between Sierra backpacking trips. Funny how watching your video of the trails I hike almost seem unrecognizable. Maybe because I hike looking down too much. 🤭

Oh goodness, that heat wave just as you did the climb up San Jacinto! Well done for trekking onwards! I must admit my friends and I rescheduled a planned day hike in the area on the 14th because of the heat. So nice to see you on trails I recognize. I’m going to miss these updates when you get to Campo!

Welcome to the Sonoran desert and the huge hills/mountains. From I-10 to idyllwild is charming once you get past the insane climb. I’m glad you are getting up San jacinto ( which you are one of the few who pronounce it right, hacinto, not yacinto) in the heat rather than an early snow but that climb is punishing in the heat cuz it is up, up, and up some more. But once you hit the tree line it helps a lot. Cuz it is gloriously beautiful

Much of the trail down to CA 74 follows the original California Riding and Hiking Trail (1945-). You'll be crisscrossing it and joining it a lot between San Jacinto and Mount Laguna.

Sorry to see this trip end soon. Funny how we all want to keep watching you three and you're doing all the work. Anxious to hear what's next, after you rest for the winter. It's been a pleasure to be with you since the beginning of the A.T. You are 3 ladies I would love to have for "sister friends". I noticed more than ever on this video how many bends in the path you walked around, not knowing what was on the other side. Such is life, we don't know what's around the corner, just hope it's something we can handle. Have fun finishing your adventure. As usual, take care, be safe.

We hung our packs in a tree. There's quite a bit of foot traffic at that junction so we weren't too worried about an animal invasion.

As you all get close to finishing, was this your hardest section through the PCT? You all are awesome. May I ask how old each of you are? I-am going on 65 this year and plan on retiring soon. Hopefully I can get out there soon

Another beautiful area. Are you seeing any other sobos on trail? I met a great you lady in wa and or -kate aka Indy and am wondering of she is still on trail. Me thinks you will be having a good celebratory Turkey feast next week. Thinking of trying to do the miles that were closed to fire if reopen next year? I will be down in that area memorial weekend in the Portola ca area for Descend on Lost Sierra.

First time I have seen the peak of San Jacinto without snow. Great job! Looks like you have had plenty of water sources. Yeah! the trio is back together. Looks like you had a great time.
