Wow this was a lot of fun to listen to, I really enjoy hearing the engineering involved, it makes me feel more in touch with what you guys are doing. Please keep it up, especially because it gives me something nice to enjoy while I wait for my new Defy

Thank you! These videos are quite hard to put together, so we really appreciate your comment 😊 We're already working on the thumb cluster story 👍

I love the prototypes and the iterations! Thanks for sharing! It is a nice example of the artistic and engineering process behind complex requirements. A vote for thumb-cluster next.

Thanks a lot! Those simple components are very complicated to create from scratch. Once we have them finished, we always wonder the same: How could it take us son long? But the truth is they are very tricky, and once we check the notes we understand why. Thanks for the vote, you'll see if democracy works in the next video 😋

Love the format of the videos. Explains the design process, funny and engaging. Keep it up! Let's go with thumb clusters first then the electronics. Very interested in both!

Thanks a lot for the kind words 😊 We put tons of effort on the videos, mucho more than in the tenting 🤣🤣, so every positive comment is appreciated. Thanks for the vote, you'll see if democracy works in the next video 😋

Oh my Dygma Armas!!! I still believe one day, that thing will happen.
@DygmaLab2 жыл бұрын
It will, as you can see in the video we've worked too much to let it go. Now it's just a matter of some more time until you can amass yours 😊

Great persistence ✊🏿 Thumb keys 🔑 next please? Mention the design for the marking system (on some of the newest Raise keys, yes?), and why the dashed keycaps don’t use it? 🙏🏼
@imthestein2 жыл бұрын
What do you mean by thumb keys? I'm just curious because there are thumb keys already so I'm clearly missing something. Genuine question, not trying to sound sarcastic
@babybloc2 жыл бұрын
@@imthestein At the end of the vid they ask what the next one should be about. Thumb Cluster or (tries to remember 🧐 can't remember) some other less cool thing 😹 they'll probably do a vid about later.

Sure thing. We will explain the marking system ;-)

Looks great. I'm looking forward to getting mine. But does the fact that they lifters are plastic mean they could break under pressure? I used to have the Logitech Ergo K860, and the plastic legs could easy break when using them.
@DygmaLab Жыл бұрын
Thanks for the comment! We've been testing the legs thoroughtly and broke them several times until we found the right materials and positions for the rods 😅 They are sturdy and we're happy with the result. Still, iif it breaks, we can repair the leg or the whole bottom pannel if necesary, but don't worry about that, they will hold!

@@DygmaLab Thanks. I have another question. Are their the little bumps on the f and J key caps for touch typing? I really rely on them for hand placement, and I don't see them in the pictures.
@DygmaLab Жыл бұрын
Yes, there are 😊 We also have two bumps on the main thumbkeys. The ones where you'd usually rest your thumb.

Being not a fan of ortholinear: Is there any chance to see 60° and a reverse tilt for the Raise anytime soon?!?
@DygmaLab Жыл бұрын
There is such chance. We want to make a Raise V2 that inherites the Defy's features, although it'll take time. We're now focused on manufacturing the Defy 😅

Hi Baka, Unfortunately, we're not allowed to share that information, sorry 🙏 Let's say we sold enought to keep our head above the water and keep launching wonderful keyboards!
@Baxtexx2 жыл бұрын
Will you also be selling replacement legs if they break?
@DygmaLab2 жыл бұрын
A resounding yes. We intend to make the keybard fully modular, that way anyone will be able to performa repair in any of the components. That's something we did with the Raise and intend to do with all the models!

$60US is rather a lot for tenting , for what it is.
@DygmaLab2 жыл бұрын
I see your point, but it has a very precise and complex manufacturing and assembly, which is responsible for a great chunk of the cost.
