Goku's name is the Japanese reading of the name of the character that inspired him, Sun Wukong. Which is why his original design was even more monkey like originally. Goku killed so many people in classic Dragon Ball, including Demon King Piccolo (who was killed with a move that went on to inspire Dragon Fist), several of King Piccolo's minions, and most of the Red Ribbon Army. Master Roshi was the one who taught Goku how to count and made him realise he was only 12, and that was during the first world tournament he participated in. That was revealed during an interview given to him and Krillin by the presenter and Krillin even commented on how he thought Goku was older than him. He was 15 by the time he fought Tien. Although at the time he thought Granpa Gohan found him as a baby, but Dragon Ball Minus revealed he was 3 so either only 9 years passed between Gohan finding him and the world tournament or he was 3 years older than he thought at all times. One of those would have to be true for him to be 48 (chronologically) when he flew off with Ubb. But either way he'd be 4 years younger than his chronological age physically due to his time spent dead and his time in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber only closing the gap a little.

@3:52, Toriyama’s original design for the super Saiyan form was white hair with red eyes, apparently. I don’t know if the motivations were the same as you suggested in the video. It finally came to fruition with Gohan Beast or Beast Gohan in Dragonball Super Super Heroes movie.

The earring present the concept of "Unbalanced Fusions", for example, Kefla, is an Unbalanced Fusion, due to Kale's raw power, not only in her Berserker form, but hef base form, where she rivals with SS Caulifla. Therefore, Kefla doesn't give such a power-up, only tapping into Kale's inmense power. However, this is only depicted in the manga, where she fights Gohan, while in the Anime she's a fuking powerhouse, going against UI Goku. Zamasu is another example, once both counterparts fuse, Black's power overcome Zamasu's, the only reason they could have a chance against Goku and Vegeta, was due to Zamasu's immortality.
