28 to 32mm tyres for more comfort, on an endurance road bike 0043

Been on 32mm Specizied Armodilios on a steel Condor endurance for about 4 months. There not that light, roll amazing ride well through the winter, never had a flat One, it's really nice to ride, my body loves it. Two, and we are only in March 2024 UK, i broke all of my Stava section times without trying. Thats on Heavy tyers, heavy wheels, looking forward to the summer on light 32mm's :-0

Live in NYC horrible roads I put gel strips under handle bar tape and stoped the vibrations into hands

Same here..Brooklyn NY..I went 28mm in front and 32mm in the rear just to soak up some of the cracked up NY street vibrations..lol

Are the 32s slower or faster than the 25s over all the road conditions you encountered?

Hi Lesile due to an injury i have not done any many time tests. Though my main reason was comfort. I don't feel that i am working harder and the few tests runs that i have done i felt refreshed after the rides and times were roughly the same, but need more test rides to get the facts and figures. There are other vids on YT that go into the times etc much more that me here. Put t this way i want be going back to the 28mm
