The '28 Days/Weeks/Years/Decades/Centuries/all the other time conversions' are some of THE BEST zombie survival films I have ever watched. What this franchise does is how almost all zombie media should've been done. Be they films, TV shows, or even video games. It's why 'Left 4 Dead 1 & 2' are still some of the most endearing zombie-shooters out there, despite their age. The game lacks linear in-game storytelling, cutscenes, etc. But the character dialogues, interactions, enviromental atmosphere, and some other good sh*t, they're all chef's kiss in my opinion. No stupid Marvel-style "Well that just happened" comedic dialogues either. Which is great!

We haven't had another good zombie movie in ages- yeah, sure, the genre like its main focus quickly died out after a few years, but it's got me interested to see how one of the more famous films, or more well-known ones, does again shake up the genre. (by shaking up the genre, 28 Days brought in/popularised the idea of running zombies.)

I'm scared. 28 days/weeks later had distinctive "zombies" (actually infected with rage) 28 years later "they evolved" how? Into what? Into the same as every other franchise? I think they're trying to undo some of the vulnerabilities eg "they don't starve anymore" or "if you die you turn into one now" like walking dead. I'm honestly worried they're cashing in on an old successful name, just like how other films get remastered or live action version.
