I've heard various plots about this movie. I haven't heard this one in the video(about the infected surviving). The one that I agree with and hope is actually true is: The initial infected died off. England is slowly rebuilding and repopulating. The RAGE Virus adapted and is only in a "Carrier State" mostly. Carriers are not aggressive early, but over the years(time), they start to lose control and become aggressive and violent. Carriers can infect others with the Rage Virus(these new infected do become aggressive). The mother is a carrier, and the son is suspected of being a carrier. The mother begins to lose that sense of self(because the Rage Virus) and the Mother and Son go looking for a doctor rumored to know a 'Cure'. The military during this timeline go out, capture(or kill) carriers to place in quarantine to prevent the virus from spreading.

Heard it through the grapevine that cillian is indeed in it and is apart of one of these communities talked about. Heard some other things I can’t say but it sounds like the use of the locations and abandoned areas will make for a great looking film. Lots of filming took place at an abandoned play center for kids and a local arena.

Going on current trends in movies of beloved IP's, I imagine there will be loads of retconning whilst also repeating what we have seen before in the story telling. Just different actors and locations. Movie writing has gone to pot in recent years.

The plot makes little sense. The first two movies established, that the "zombies" are alive, just infected by the rage virus. And as such they die of hunger eventually. How could they live for 28 years?

I have been wondering the same thing! If I remember correctly, at the end of the first movie they were already starving to death laying all over the road.

Maybe the virus started to adapt to survive after the second outbreak, viruses do this for self preservation.

@@ScaryAF_Entertainment in the second movie the end credits scene had the infected in france, meaning it couldve went global and is no longer restricted to the island meaning billions of possible infected and humans still trying to survive

Continued prolonged and fragile outbreaks, also the infection will have adapted and evolved, much like COVID, but that’s all I can say!

Okay so let's recap this is from the comics and this is quoted from the 28 Days wiki "After Jim, Hannah and Selena were rescued, they were taken to France and were remembered as the Manchester Three. Jim was arrested for his role in the deaths of Major West and his soldiers, and was scheduled to be executed by firing squad. Hannah was released and was put into German Foster Care." So of the lore is still true to the comics than Jim should've died but Hannah and Selena should still be alive. Andy, Tammy and the Pilot would still be up for debate though.

Sounds a bit dodgy..the doctor will be cillian ??? So with the pics the plot is real...alex is a good writer....it unlikely to be shite or danny wouldnt have signed on for it after 2 decades of saying no..not interested.

I dont know, maybe they wont spoil the story to much and it makes sense until you have watched the movie but it sounds a little bit strange. The infected should be dead by now and it sounds like they ignore 28 Weeks Later. I hope they dont fuck this up. Maybe we should wait but i have a bad feeling about this.

yea kind of like a quiet place day 1 where it could of been super cool and interesting but essentially was just a standard "horror" movie using the name and monsters from the franchise

What I don’t get is the infected die off so surely there can’t be many left at this point in England? If it was set in America or mainland Europe I’d get it, but Britain was decimated as shown in 28 weeks later and all those infected from the end of that film would be dead yearrrrrs ago. The channel tunnel maybe? But I thought it was sealed off in 28 days later. Excited though love the first two

At the end of 28 weeks later they break through the channel tunnel and can be seen running throughout France.
