Genetics my friend. You are one of the fortunate ones that can work that much (very physical) and not be sore till 3pm the next day. Remember I told you I can't work more than 4 or 5 hours of this kind of work per day. You said I was maybe "too young". Funny. But everyone is impressed. Or your identical twin works w you.

I make and sell about 200 full cords of firewood each year for people to burn in their fireplaces and for restaurants to cook and smoke with . They do not want big pieces like people who heat with wood so it is split smaller.

How does the ultra do with knots and ugly hardwood stuff? Do you split any tree service logs or only logs from a logger?
@InTheWoodyard
@InTheWoodyard 11 ай бұрын
If you watch a bunch of my 1200 videos on the channel with the wood I get you will see that about 40-50 full cords a year comes from tree service stuff, big nasty knotty junk so ya it does fine. The other 150ish cords comes from loggers but a bunch of that is nasty crap too!

Hello Chris, I have a question I was hoping you could help me out with. So last year I stacked all my wood to dry just like you do but I was wondering if I put some pallets on the ground and just threw all the wood on top of it in a big pile, would it dry that way ?
@InTheWoodyard
@InTheWoodyard 3 жыл бұрын
Yes, absolutely but just do not go so high that the wood on the bottom gets no air. Maybe 8' high or so.
@devinlong1371
