I’m using the iCharger x8 to test a 280ah eve cell. I charged it up to 3.620v and discharged down to 2.5v The result was 276Ah (if I fully charged to 3.650v I’m sure it will have shown the full 280ah capacity)

Good test, but knowing the LifePO4 charge curve I doubt that you will get the extra 4Ah by charging from 3.62 to 3.65v. You can do a test and you'll see I'm right. New 280Ah cells should pull from 282 to 290Ah when new.

I’ll do a retest in 12 months and see the difference. The battery is fully built and in service running 80% dod

Not 280K. They'll test right around 280Ah when new.

@@niktak1114 In the past I experienced an increase in capacity from testing new to then testing 6 months after and found that they did gain capacity. I’m hopeful the same will happen to this cells
You are not the first one to test under quoted capacity, on fogstar A grade 280ah. There’s a guy up in Scotland that returned his first 32 cell batch, and swapped for the B grade. So far the B grade test above 280ah on al, cells. Go figure.
