Yes I pulled that whistle and will never forget! I cried with teas of joy! The best cab ride of my life. I felt like Doc Brown in back to the future. "I always wanted to do that"!!!

They allow me to ride in the cab of 192's sister engine, 190, anytime want! All you have to do is go up and ask the crew if you can have a ride. I have done it almost 20 times at Tweetsie! I only have been denied for 12. (They only do rides in it during Railroad Heritage Weekend.)

@isthisright84 That Whistle was Great! It sounds Very Close to 4501's Southern 3 chime Steptop! Sadly, Dollywood stopped Letting people ride in the cab, And my camera Was just along for the ride in this video. Thank You!

This engineer must of volunteered or is influenced from Cass Scenic Railroad just by listening to that whistle chord he plays.

And I love 12's whistle at Tweetsie! I think that 190 should have its 6-chime on it all the time. It would be so much nicer!
@SouRwy4501Productions4 ай бұрын
190 doesn’t have a 6-chime. It has a 6-inch diameter Crosby 3-chime.

Should be over in the next month or too. They only have two shop days a week to work inside the shop with the full force, and alot of that day is spent on repairs needed what is already operational.

@288jh I gotcha! yeah me and my family used to go every year until I graduated high school and i loved the train. Always loved trains. So you just asked them if they would operate your camera. Do you know the crew?

How do you get a cab ride on the Dollywood RR? My Great Gran father was a fireman on the TVR. And I have always been fascinated with steam trains. Been to Dollywood MANY times but me and my dad would LOVE to ride in the engine! Who do I call we are going back before the Oct. running of Tallledaga ? Guest relations?
