Brava Megan! I live in Milan and I can confirm all what you highlighted so brilliantly as tips for tourists

My siblings, family and I had to go to Milan because Mom eventually passed there while on vacation. We stayed at the Mia aparthotel and it was great! We also ventured into lake Cuomo and there's a beach there along with the waterfront. Very nice way to pass the time because there were street artists and vendors as well. It was the middle of a heat wave so we refilled our water bottles a lot at the free fountains. You can take a lift up to the roof of the Duomo but there isn't one going down. I was not a happy camper

Excellent video Megan! We visited Italy (Milano) in May. I still dream of Cotoletta alla Milanese so amazingly breaded. 😋 Thank you great information!

about mosquitos - you can ask in any bar or restaurant for an anti-mosquito spray, they always have it, or just get one in supermarket yeah, it's an issue, was worse before, now it's tolerable about tickets for metro/bus - after validation you can use them for 90 minutes in any ground/underground trips, so you can make several rides with different transportation about airport transfers - cheapest one is bus (not fastest if your flight is during peak hours), going to malpensa on the bas could take 50 minutes, all buses to all 3 airports are at central train station (i'd recommend to take bus if you fly from bergamo or linate, and for malpensa to take train) seems like you never went anywhere far from center - porta venezia area is very nice, also it is gay area in town porta romana good too, for terme, swimming pool (bagni misteriosi) you could go to fondazione prada or hangar biccoca - contemporary art spaces, they are a bit far from center

Travelling next month planned a cab ride from the Central Station to Navigli - hopefully not too expensive under 20 euros?

You could easily use your credit card on thesubway. You do not even need ti have a physical ticket. You just have to own a VISA or Mastercard.

Was it easy to go from Milan to Lake Como? How much was the fare?
@TheMeganDaily5 ай бұрын
It was pretty easy. It was maybe $10-$20 each way. Really affordable and trains ran pretty regularly.

@@TheMeganDaily wow! Thats pretty good! My mother and I are going in November for the first time! I guess I’m just worried about the how to’sz how do I get to the train station, can I walk to it, how to get back to our hotel. Etc. we are playing in to Malpensa!

@@stephmar6693 We took a cab to the train station from our hotel. It wasnt extremely close, but then we took the metro from thra train station back to the hotel and it was actually EASIER than the cab!

@@TheMeganDaily our hotel is 11 mins from the airport! Which we were so happy about. The hotel will actually pick us up from the airport. I’m trying to figure out from the hotel, where the train station is. I know the airport has one at the bottom, but I wonder if there is another one near our hotel. Kind nervous about getting around. Don’t want to get lost, but then again… Milan 😍

3:20 I heard that for 'good luck' you have to spin on the bull counterckolwise; most people do it 'wrong' 9:40 Yes, taxis to the airports are expensive. It is much cheaper the direct train from the central station to Malpensa International Airport, a direct metro line to Linate Airport and a bus to Orio/Bergamo. By the way, the old town of Bergamo is worth a visit. 7:43 Better being alert on the metro. It is good that, at the end of your video, you remind tourists to take care of their valuables: big cities attract pickpockets; do not keep documents and all your money together
