I would switch the washer dryer location with the half bath since the dryer needs to vent through an exterior wall. Otherwise, the house is lovely.

I would do completely away with the half bath & make it all one large laundry room. That way you could have a top load washer, the dryer could vent to the outside, plus you would have room for a small freezer & cabinets above them all.

No need for dryer to vent outside if it's a condenser dryer. I like the larger shower in this one, didn't notice a half bath in the ensuite

Such builders do exist. I drew the plan for my retirement home on graph paper and handed it to my builder, and he had his daughter transfer it to her computer, which produced a set of builder's plans. He and his assistant finished the house in eight months.

Why have a white range when the other kitchen appliances are stainless steel? Also, how would you get the large box spring & mattress up those stairs?

This one contains the necessary features. While I'd prefer a laundry room instead of stackables in the hall, and I'd have to convert or eliminate the fireplace, I could appreciate it the way it is.

Very beautiful exterior. Would tweek 4 senior citizen user friendly: lose the entry 1/2 bath & make a lg laundry area off hall with side by side units/utility sink etc. Might have freezer room 😉 Pocket door use great 😀Inside decor personally would need 2 B little more simplistic 4 my use. TY 4 great ideas

This home is so beautiful. How much does it cost to run. I guess this is in the US. How much land is required. I would that these type houses could be built in Australia but we are having much trouble with government not releasing permits to built on land zoned for 17,000 homes, I think in our state of Victoria.
