Great plan. The only thing I'd change is make the shower go all the way across the back wall on the ground floor with a transom window. I'd keep the upstairs for guests. Also, I'd add a railing to go on the stairs.

Just about the only thing I would change is the window in the downstairs bath. If you made it long and high you could take the shower all the way across the bathroom. Lovely house.

While this is a beautiful little home, Jasper, it’s not the one for us. Even if my physio works and I get out the wheelchair, we are still older and aging in place - single floor living - is something that is top priority. ☺️

You left out the upper level floor plan, Love the master suite upstairs. This 2 BR, 2 Bath home , although not a totally open concept, really is the perfect size for a 2nd get away home!

What a darling house! Without the kiss of warm wood throughout the house, it would have been sterile with all the white. But the rich caramel of the wood tied everything together. The little stairs seemed like an afterthought that led to a attic space, but no! I was shocked to see such a large suite upstairs!!!! It was a total surprise for me and a very, very wonderful discovery!!!

I think this is perfect! I don’t think it needs changing, the upstairs bedroom is wow! Somebody mentioned lack of cupboard/closet space, the upstairs bedroom has more than enough, especially if you can still climb stairs!! Love the green in the porch area and a green kitchen too! Ideal!

Intriguing design for a get-away cabin! A garage is easily added, either at the time of construction or anytime thereafter, and can be positioned as required by the shape of the building lot.

I love the layout, love the entrance, the living room, beautiful fireplace, the dining area, the kitchen w/ the area rug, the laundry room, beautiful, the bathroom with the corner shower, love that, I also love those block windows for the bathroom, they use them for basement windows, the bedroom, the staircase, beautiful, love the master bedroom, the walk in closet and the Master bedroom, love the speckled tile in the bathroom and the brick look or the field stone look, ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️

Very nice. Stairs needs a handrail. I'd use stacking washer and dryer to make the laundry room more of a mudroom, since you have the outside access Likewise, might put French doors in the downstairs bedroom to access the covered porch, I'd probably use a Murphy bed/workstation unit to use that bedroom as an office/guest room and consider screening the back porch. Lots of possibilities with this plan.

Don't need a sink in laundry. Could use a utility closet. Bathrooms and bedrooms need linen closets. Need storage closets. Would rather have transom windows in bathrooms. Need company bathroom as well to front of home. Need bathroom in each bedroom. A long way from being the perfect home.

Jasper provided for them. There's a closet beside the laundry sink. The open kitchen door is hiding it in the walk-through, but it can be seen clearly in the floor plan. I assume the water heater is there, with room for brooms and mops too. The HVAC would be behind the louvered door in the downstairs hall, next to the bedroom door. Both are well positioned imho.
