I absolutely enjoy watching your videos--you always get to the point and very informative...congrats on graduating as well! and when you find either of these butters can you please share the info? I love avocado oil or doing an avocado dc on my hair so I would love to try the butter.

I'm not crazy about shea butter either. I first started using shea butter when I was transitioning and it felt like it just sat on top of my hair. I big chopped in May of this year and it was too hot to use it my my fully natural hair. Now that its cold here in the Midwest, I'm going to try to see how my hair reacts to the shea butter. However I am a low porosity girl and I see my hair is starting to like lighter products. So we see if I have to find another use for my shea butter.

a prepoo is when you use hot oil/oil or a conditioner mix on your hair BEFORE you shampoo. It's really to add moisture to your hair before you use shampoo which strips the hair of all its oils. so if you overload the hair with oils and conditioners before stripping it, your hair still feels moisturized afterwards instead of stiff and brushlike because of the shampoo.

Great video. I love your videos, especially the styling tutorials. You make it look so easy. Oh and I agree on the shea butter. It sits on my hair and is so greasy, even when used lightly.

Also... I am with you on the shea butter thing. I stopped using it because it just seems like it sits there and it weighs my hair down. I do like shea moisture though.

I shampoo my hair twice first with head and shoulders, then with a moisturizer shampoo I let my hair air dry for a bit so it isn't soaking wet. Then I deep condition with egg, molasses, and a combination of essential oils which I let sit on my head for 30min. After I rinse my hair off with cold water then I use a moisturizer/ strengthing conditioner, comb it through my hair and let it sit for 5min. rinse again with cold water, twist my hair then let air dry. After my hair is dry I spray each section one by one with aloe Vera water or just water then I comb the wet section. I add a leave in conditioner then comb my hair again. last but not least I add a combination of blue magic then comb again. if I am up to it I will blow dry my hair on low, style then call it a day

Great video. What does Nourish and Shine does to your hair. I want to make a suggestion. You stated that you have problems with your edges. I did too but I stopped using brush because it caused the breaking of my edges. Just try it for a couple of months. Just use your hands. Keep pushing those videos.

idk if you still have that brush but if it's the fake demin buy conair that can cause your hair to have breakage I mean split ends, single strand knots and dusty ends after you clipped them just a few weeks ago. I threw mines out and bought the blue curly hair brush.

Are you on Hairlista Narada??? Someone just posted a blog asking about deep conditioning prior to washing, trying to understand the benefits/reasoning. I know plenty of people do it but there were some responses about how they didn't understand it. If you are on there, I think it would be dope if you posted the benefits you've seen from it.

The denman in my opinion has strong bristles with rounded tips that can safely and efficiently detangle the hair, especially if natural. But in addition it really helps with enhancing my curls! :)
