I remember this being made into a movie in 1991. I watched it on TV decades ago, and still remember how scary it was. Their story was terrifying. I still get chills thinking about it. I believe it was called The Haunted.

Currently listening to the first few minutes of the fam possession. It sounds like they bought a dud, made repairs- accidentally trapping animals like opossums, raccoons, squirrels etc. (explains the scratches etc.) and when you fix one area of plumbing others are bound to bust (you have to replace everything or this will happen in old homes). Ps I’m sure you know this but be careful about letting people know when and where you’re going on adventures. Some creepers out there ! 💀
