I enjoyed watching this and you've pretty much confirmed what i had suspected. I moved to Swindon at the start of 2024 and discovered lawn lakes shortly after. I was told there was nothing left in there and having had several walks around both lakes, i only saw a carp on 2 occasions, in the lower lake, and im certain it was the same fish both times. It was a common carp, and I'd say no bigger than a mid double. I have now subscribed and looking forward to checking out your previous content. Thanks. 👍

@karlperry1156 I did many many years ago mate, had loads of nice fish out! This was just a reminiscing session and to see if any carp was still there. It's changed a lot so won't be returning anytime quick, or if I do it'll be a quick day session again but top lake.

@@MrCarpking71 yeh but it shouldn’t be like that when I was young I would catch carp and barbel from the river very rarely did you blank now it’s hard to catch 1 fish a year in the river Thames in Oxfordshire it’s a very sad situation and it should have been stopped I much preferred wild rivers than stocked puddles, at least in my life time got to fish the rivers at there best my kids can’t do that now it’s a shame.
