Man we've been telling them for years they need real 0ga inputs on their 3kW amps! I also got one of these recently and I'm working on testing it now on the Amp Dyno. I have a smart 8k bass that I didn't want to buy, but surge audio doesn't know when the ps7000 will be back in stock. I listen to it rather loud for an hour to and from work 6 days for the last 4 months. No problems. Maybe not loud enough cause I never see the clip light and the fans rarely turn. Usually when it was hot out and sitting in direct sunlight for about 7 hours through the back hatch window. It's much more powerful than my mmats 4000.1.

For that dollar amount it is an insane amount of power. I come from a time where everything was a dollar a watt. 100 watts, $100 dollars. I started my bass hunger at 14 years old in 1985 so everything was expensive. And $100 in 1985 is like $600 today.

@jase1911 budget budget budget I know I want it too, but I can get 5 smart 8k for the cost of a mint warhorse. I will talk with Derek and see if he will let me run his for non-competitive shows. The 10x10on10 build in a 6th order 96 ranger mini truck build. This truck will not be cut up. I have removed the back window, and I have a camper shell on it. The box will be removable using my shop crane. The rear frame is fully custom designed with a 4-link. I moved the bags from the lower links to behind the axle for better load stability. My rear frame is my air tank. I'm running 6x 3/4in threaded rods from frame tabs up thru the bed and I have 6 nuts with jam nuts and a 1/4 steel plate the rods go up thru the box (steel tube in the lower chamber)and have have nuts on the face board between subtle upper top of the box the seals it to the cab slips over the top and bolts to the sides. The box is 2.25in thick on all sides and 2.75 in the face. The slip on top has 1.25in sides and a 2in roof, and it's tuned to 28-38 The box is built around the wheelhouse, is 62in long and 52in wide, and peeks at 35in tall

It has the same inputs as other Smart amps im pretty sure, he used "oversized" wire that was already twisted so it was much thicker. If he had cut off the end then It would fit, and the 4 gauge adapter was in there pretty loose

​​​​@@1ohmwreckerjust use a reducer.. you use ring terminals on the end of 0/1 gauge wire without asking questions, just use a solid 0 to 4 gauge reducer... i use copper sky high reducers... ive burried my clip light on my smart 3 bass for days smashing a set of u series 15s. ... fqqn thing doesnt even get warm to the touch... my coils get a lil warm tho.. 👀 i bought a second smart 3 bass for that problem tho.. why not?? theyre $270... Thank you Taramps, for like 12 cents per watt!!!!

That was from the amount of people running them on stock electrical. Its so low cost, they people that can't afford a big system think they can just run a 3k on a stock alt and a single battery. Brazilian are just two Korean style amps internally strapped. Its just like having 2 Koreans which would also be a fire hazard if the electrical isn't there to feed them properly.
