Be safe. An R1 is super dangerous starting out. Always remember when you are on a beast that could kill you at any second to be a little afraid. Fear keeps us in check but too much fear leads to poor decisions as well. Just be safe and remember stay alert. Ride safe and don’t end up as another death in the biker community who got themselves killed.

Well I definitely can’t speak for everyone but I can give my story. I love bikes I always have since I was a kid. I grew up around small engine shops and show rooms as my dad is a small engine mechanic. However I had a family member that got into a bad bike accident and was basically set ablaze years ago. So my family has shunned bikes big time. The only family member I had that still likes them is my dad but he was always scared of them after that. I am 20 and am just now getting a decent job the interview is tomorrow. So I do hope to save up for just an R3 or something small. I love bikes but kinda like my dad I have no desire to go fast and end up dead. So that’s my story of why I am here.
