Love my 2box drum it five, 2024 and the sounds still battle the likes of the Alesis strike and strata plus the td50!

The drum set is amazing! Well worth the 2,200 USD price i paid for the kit.I haven't really messed around with the drum brain much so can't go into much detail about it.I also like the fact you can change the drum heads from mesh,rubber or real acoustic drum heads.

Great review and sweet drumming. Hate it when people show of their chops in reviews. Well, you sort of did, but at least it was tasteful :) BTW, just picked up this kit a couple of hours ago. Will set it up when I get home.

I've been looking into this kit today. They'll be here in the US in late June. If you can find a shop that sells Tama, they can prolly get the Drumit, too (same distribution company, Hoshino USA).

These drums actually sound great and feel lovely. A little flimsy but my main issue is with the undynamic cymbals: which you can hear on al, 2box vids. Combining real cymbals with this kit is brilliant.

Im sure they are already multisamples....you can hear the quality is much more than just greater volume mapped to the velocity... they are definately multisamples already

@11brassmonkey11 Check out the PC/Mac editor software on 2box dot se (not com since it is a Swedish company...) , that will indicate whether it fulfills your requirement. The onboard sounds are definately stacked depending on velocity, but they are also ALTERNATING which is the really powerful feature not available on any HW eDrumkit so far! :-D (Only Drum plugins). And since 2box claim all onboard sounds are fully editable onto the 4GB onboard memory, my guess would be yes. But check it out..

big question how do you make your 2box get sound from the ipod connected to the line in? i wanna hear drumless TRACKS (IN THE IPOD), and listening my drums through the head phones but no soud coming from the ipod to the line MEANING IPOD LINE IN HEADPHONES OUT BUT NO SOUND PLEASE HELP!!!

Awesome kit! I have just ordered 3 extra monocymbals and an extra tom... With insert cables (i am skipping the rim sounds on the toms...) I will have 5 cymbals (2 chokable 2box, 3 smaller mono splash type) and 5 toms.... Jiiiiihaaaa! And yeah, i have FIXED THE BASS DRUM WOBBLE--> watch?v=3JnQgt9VZlM

for those who are thinking of buying this kit, it's an a mazing piece of hardware. only minor problems with the hi hat and bell of the cymbals. but for the price, everything is extremely functional! check out my review at musinic[dot]com

You review this kit as if you have never touched any Roland drum kit... The TD-10 does most of the features you talk about and its a decade old. You also aren't discussing its cons which is a major part of a review. This is just a rave.
