Timothy Monk I would definitely encourage anyone to learn! It is such a beautiful and versatile instrument, I don't think anything is as moving as how melancholy the cello can sound, but as in this, it can also sound joyful! I love playing, it's one of my favorite hobbies.

i dont think people understand how hard this was to pull off. they had to do so many things 1. be good at cello 2. find a friend that is also good at cello 3. both of you agree to play a piece of music while too close to each other for comfort 4. figure out body movement situations like hand and head positions at certain times 5. Tune the strings to different pitches so multiple notes in a chord can be played at a time

Alex Caldwell Yes. when Luca starts plucking in the beginning, the pitch is the G natural below the cello C string. I don’t know if they had to tune the other strings differently, but i know they for sure had to tune the C string down to a G

I'm sure they've rehearsed quite a lot before pulling that off.

whenever i ever watch this my heart bursts even when i listen to it i am just overcome with hapiness honestly i would walk down the isle to this piece of music it makes me feel incredible it could get me out of any mood, and bring a smile to my face and fill my heart these boys mean so much to me, its insane people say music sets off memories, and this piece just reminds me of when i found a love in music, when i discovered these boys, when i was innocent and happy and just so many happy things not that i am particularly sad now, i am sitting in my bed, warm, belly full of chocolate cake, but it reminds me of who i was, sets me within who i am now and hints to who i am in the future. not many people would understand how i could listen to this song over and over for my whole life and never get bored, i would always find something new to love, something new to remember i want to like this video a hundred times, somehow record it in my mind so i can watch it whenever, program it to my alarm so i can listen to it when i wake every day. i know its a bit over the top but its beauty means can not be described in my mind, only with colours and feelings and memories and images. in year 9 i fell in love with the cello after wanting to smash it like a tennis racquet because of these boys, i am now writing for my school string orchestra, in the first cello chair, and have aced my exams i cannot describe what this means to me truly, but i have tried and my oh my this message doesnt give this video enough credit. i just feel great and overcome with joy, thanks to this music from these boys.
