Hi good to see You back on Your 2CV. I hope You had a good holiday. That tool looks really useful. I am working on My Lomax, currently I'm fitting a small supercharger! I'm nearly there, all plumbed in and just hooking up the carbs (two 1 1/2" su HS4) I am planning to get some kind of video up when it is done, meanwhile I've posted a video of us riding up White Horse Hill. Anyway thanks for the videos. Best Wishes Dee

Just watched your video Dee, lovely drone shots, the car looked perfect in that setting.

Remarkably cheap and effective tool. Given the difference in mass between the head and the guide I'm not sure that the freezing is worthwhile, but hey, what do I know? Thanks, Mark. 👍

It was a very good tool Bill. I also don't know just how effective the freezing was, but I operate on the basis that it could not hurt and may well be beneficial so why not.

How did you address the lack of grooving for keeping the valve stem seals in place?

Does the tool state the smallest diameter it will do, pressing in the seats much better. Just watched a video where the gent was tapping them in and at 80% inserted he shattered both exhaust valve seats. Not a family friendly video when it happened the second time. Great content as always, Thank You.

I will measure the centre rod and post the diameter later Max, as you rightly say, hammering them in is a bit brutal and risks damage ( although I have done it before ).
