For those having difficulty with braids, apparently blender has a node for that kind of thing now.

Zbrush also has multiple ways to do it through the different tools, but its a bit obscure to figure out. ZClassroom has a lot of tutorials explaining the capabilities of the software, it is also free for everyone to watch. The only problem is that although it is incredibly condensed, there are hundreds of 5-30 min videos explaining different things, so sometimes finding what you are looking for is hard.

Nice; this is closer to exactly what I want to do with my modeling. Now to see how well I can apply it to Blender.. maybe I should look into one of those plugins that imitates the main features of Z Brush..

Hey Follygon, lovely video as always! May I ask for you to do some simple Zbrush UI tutorials such as how to duplicate objects and switch from one to another? I am a Blender artist who recently switched over to Zbrush and although my artistic skills are good for now (forever growing) I still have a hard time with simple things. Hi follyygon I have question is that the way you sculpt, turning the 2d character in to 3d character, do you get profit, I am trying my level best to earn some how. Nice modeling! Only two suggestions, if you don't mind, the hand that supports the head would have pushed the girl's cheek a little and the other arm should be resting on the book so that the position feels more natural. Greetings and keep up the good work.
